Busyness is often based in fear

Busyness is often based in fear I recently listened to an audio (How Did I Get So Busy) by Valorie Burton that really moved me.  My goal in 2011 is, believe it or not, to do LESS.  Don't get me wrong, I want to help more people but want to find ways of reaching more without overextending myself in the process.  I have come to the conclusion that if I don't practice self-care, I will not be able to serve those who need it most. Busyness if often based in fear.  I heard the words but never really equated busyness with fear.  Valorie discusses some of the reasons…

However, it makes for a perfect segue for us to transition back into…

The Ripple Effect…Why I Do What I Do

The Ripple Effect…Why I Do What I Do The first email that I opened today was from a newsletter subscriber thanking me for doing what I do. A few hours later, I received a phone call from someone diagnosed with cancer.  He said the nurse at the clinic had suggested that he contact me.  She had attended one of my online classes and told him I would be a great resource as he wanted to take a healing approach to his cancer. Later that day I met with a new client and she commented “meeting you is an answer to my prayers”. Someone once shared that what I do is like dropping…
