Baylee's Journey

Baylee’s Journey

Baylee’s Journey is a  “Tail” of Resilience and Love

Rescuing a pet is no small feat. It requires resilience, patience, and unwavering dedication. Such was the case with Baylee, a female English Bulldog whose journey tugged at our hearts and tested our resolve.

Born on September 28, 2011, Baylee entered the world in Cincinnati, under circumstances unknown to us. For the first 18 months of her life, she lived with a family who cared for her until tragedy struck—an injury to her leg that necessitated a metal rod. It was then that her path intersected with ours as they surrendered her.

Baylee's Journey

In January 27, 2013, we welcomed Baylee into our lives through Indiana Bulldog Rescue. But Baylee came not just with physical scars but emotional ones too. She bore the weight of past traumas, having been returned twice by families ill-equipped to handle her needs. The first family relinquished her when the cost of her care became too much, while the second struggled with her aggression towards her husband.

Our initial days with Baylee were fraught with challenges. She exhibited aggression towards my husband, a behavior that demanded immediate attention and understanding. Through patience and a bit of ingenuity—like using a baby gate and tossing sweet potatoes to bridge the divide—we began to mend the bond between them. Soon, they formed an unbreakable father-daughter connection, weathering every storm together.

But Baylee’s challenges extended beyond the home. Walking her meant navigating her intense reactions to passing cars, particularly those of the loud or diesel variety. It was a dance of vigilance and caution, with every outing fraught with the possibility of danger.

Despite our hopes of introducing other animals into our home, Baylee’s high prey drive made it clear she was destined to be an only child. And so, for five years, it was just the two of us—a dynamic duo navigating life’s ups and downs, one treat demand at a time.

Baylee's JourneyBaylee’s routine became our routine, her demands our joy. From early morning breakfast rituals to late-night treat times, she kept us on our toes, her antics a constant source of amusement and affection. And every Saturday, rain or shine, we embarked on our ritualistic walks, a trio bound by love and loyalty.

But as life often does, it threw us a curveball. In January of 2024, Baylee began experiencing seizures, signaling the beginning of the end. Despite our best efforts and countless vet visits, her condition deteriorated, robbing her of mobility, senses, and vitality. It was a slow, agonizing decline, marked by moments of heartbreaking realization and profound loss. The cruel component was that her heart, lungs and other organs were strong.

In her final months, our lives revolved around Baylee—holidays spent apart, getaways postponed, and tears shed in the name of love. We became her constant companions, her caretakers, her champions. And as we bid her farewell at the age of 12, we were left with memories of a journey filled with challenges, but ultimately, defined by love.

🌈 Remembering Baylee: Her Timeline…A Journey of Love 🐾

September 28, 2011: Baylee enters the world in Cincinnati, beginning a journey that would touch countless lives.

January 27, 2013: Rescued by Indiana Bulldog Rescue at 18 months old, Baylee joins our family, her spirit unbroken despite past traumas.

Early Days: Baylee’s challenges test our patience and perseverance, but with love and determination, we build a bond that withstands every trial.

January 2024: Baylee begins experiencing seizures, marking the start of a difficult chapter in her journey.

February 2024: Despite our efforts and countless holistic interventions, Baylee’s condition worsens, signaling the inevitable goodbye drawing near.

March 11, 2024: With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to our beloved Baylee as she peacefully crosses the rainbow bridge. Though she may be gone, her memory will forever live on in our hearts.

Baylee’s journey was one of resilience, love, and unwavering devotion. Rest easy, sweet girl. 🌈🐾

10 Tips for Healthy Eating in Charleston

10 Tips for Healthy Eating in Charleston

Charleston, SC is stunning and can captivate you with its allure of food and beauty. Therefore, I offer you 10 tips for healthy eating in Charleston. Maintaining a healthy diet while dining out can pose challenges, but you can certainly achieve it by making mindful choices. Having moved from a Midwest town with limited healthy eating options in Evansville, IN, my husband and I feel fortunate. We are true foodies who used to drive almost two hours to Louisville, KY, where we discovered a great selection of farm-to-table restaurants. Evansville had earned a reputation as the chain food capital of Indiana! Although many covet chain restaurants, we typically avoid them due to their reliance on processed foods.

Here are the top 10 tips for healthy eating when dining out in Charleston:

  1. Plan ahead: Check the restaurant’s menu online before your visit. Look for healthier options and decide your order in advance, reducing the chances of making impulsive, unhealthy choices at the restaurant.
  2. Control portion sizes: Restaurants often serve larger portions than necessary. Consider sharing a dish with a friend or requesting a half portion if available. Alternatively, you can pack half of your meal to take home.
  3. Choose water or unsweetened beverages: Opt for water, herbal tea, or sparkling water over sugary drinks or alcoholic beverages. These options are lower in calories and won’t add unnecessary sugar to your meal.
  4. Prioritize veggies and fruits: Seek out dishes rich in vegetables and fruits. These provide essential nutrients and fiber while often being lower in calories compared to other options.
  5. Be cautious with dressings and sauces: Many salads and dishes can become unhealthy due to high-calorie dressings and sauces. Ask for dressings on the side and use them sparingly or choose lighter options like olive oil and vinegar.
  6. Avoid fried and breaded items: Fried foods are typically high in unhealthy fats and calories. Instead, opt for grilled, baked, or steamed dishes for a healthier alternative.
  7. Limit added sugars and refined carbs: Be mindful of hidden sugars in sauces, desserts, and even some savory dishes. Also, choose whole grains when possible, such as brown rice or whole wheat bread.
  8. Control your appetizers and sides: Select healthier appetizers like salads, soups, or dishes with lean proteins. Steer clear of deep-fried or heavily processed options. For sides, opt for steamed vegetables or salads instead of fries or creamy dishes.
  9. Eat mindfully: Slow down and savor your meal. Listen to your body’s hunger and fullness cues, and stop eating when you’re satisfied. This will prevent overeating and allow you to enjoy your food more fully.
  10. Be cautious with desserts: If you desire dessert, consider sharing it with others at the table. Alternatively, choose a lighter option like fresh fruit or sorbet to satisfy your sweet tooth without overindulging.

Remember that occasional indulgences are okay, but making healthier choices most of the time can help you maintain a balanced diet when dining out. When my husband and I first moved to Charleston, we got caught up in trying everything and developed some unhealthy eating habits, including indulging in heavy appetizers and alcoholic beverages. While there is nothing wrong with this occasionally, making it a weekly habit for us was not advisable. Unfortunately, it reflected on our scales, resulting in some unwanted belly fat.

If you want to discover my top 10 healthiest dining spots in the Charleston area, you can find more information here.

waiting for happiness

Waiting for Happiness

Stop Waiting for Happiness

Are you constantly waiting for happiness to show up? I spent the majority of my life waiting which ended up dealing with constant anxiety and even depression. Here is what helps me every day to experience more happiness, less stress, less anxiety and way less depression. We have two mindsets we can focus on daily: simply stated negative thoughts and positive thoughts. According to Shirzad Chamine, author of Positive Intelligence, they are also labeled as the Saboteurs and the Sage perspective.

Naming the Negative Voices

The Judge is our main saboteur or put simply the instigator of most negative thoughts. The Judge finds fault with self, others, and circumstances. This saboteur causes much of our disappointment, anger regret, guilt, shame and anxiety. It also activates our accomplish saboteurs such as the Pleaser, Controller, Hyper-Achiever and more.

Lie #1 – You’ll Be Happy When…

One of the biggest and most damaging lies your Judge tells you every day is this…”Your current situation and circumstances are not good enough for you to be happy. You will be happy when ______.” Fill in the blank.

So think about how your Judge has finished this sentence all through your life. You will be happy…

  • When you finally grow up and become independent from your parents.
  • When you get into that college,
  • When you graduate,
  • When you get that job,
  • When you get that promotion,
  • When you buy that house,
  • When you find that relationship,
  • When you have that child, and so on, and so on

Now, think about it, when you finally got what you thought would make you forever happy. How long did your happiness last before your Judge again said “actually you don’t have what you need to be happy”.

“You will be happy when” and it created a new target so you could finally be happy one day.

Therefore, it’s important to ask yourself these questions:

  • What is your Judge’s lie right now?
  • What are you unhappy about right now?
  • What situation or circumstance is bothering you right now that you’re waiting to change so you can be happy one day?

Whatever you are waiting for so you can be happy ONE day is the latest lie of your judge.

Tapping into the Positive Sage Mode

Likewise, your Sage knows that you have everything you need right now to be happy that’s because happiness depends entirely on which part of your brain is activated and dealing with your life’s challenges and what emotions you’re experiencing.

The Sage perspective is about accepting what is, rather than denying, rejecting, or resenting what is. Therefore, our Sage accepts every outcome and circumstance as a gift and opportunity. Our Sage is the exact opposite of many of the negative assumptions of the Judge.

For example, if you have failed at something your Sage would be focused on converting that failure into a gift using the five Sage modes of being deeply empathic, or curious, or creative, purpose driven or in calm, laser focused, clear headed action.

All these five Sage modes generate positive emotions, ranging from empathy, compassion and gratitude, to wonder, the joy of creativity to peace and calm.

When you’re feeling all these positive emotions, you’re happy, even if life circumstances haven’t gone your way. Therefore, happiness is an inner state of mind.

When you feel positive emotions, you have everything you need to be happy right now. Today intercept your Judge’s lie that you can’t be happy until something changes in your life. Therefore, stop waiting to be happy One day, choose to be happy Today.

If you are struggling, I get it and am here to help. In addition, you can take the Positive Intelligence assessment to identify your unique saboteurs. This is a quick 5 minute assessment that I can help you unpack during our time together.

Talk by Bonnie Schnautz Naturopathic Doctor on Your Body Temple or Garage

Your Body Temple or Garage

Your Body Temple or Garage

Is your body a temple or garage? Stop what you’re doing and ask yourself, “Am I treating my body like a temple? Or am I treating my body like a garage?” Maybe the answer will make you feel really good. Or maybe you won’t be happy with your answer. Either way, both are important eye-openers. Day-to-day life is busy for most of us. We spend so much time inside our own minds that we can forget, we have an entire body we’re attached to. God gave us one body that we’re tasked to love.

God wants us to be happy and healthy. Are you healthy?  “Health” looks different to many people. I say it’s not the absence of disease which is how most people define health.  However, health is defined as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Meaning, when you were fearfully and wonderfully made by our Creator, the intention was for you to be in good physical, mental, and spiritual health. I’ll ask again, are you treating your body like a temple or garage?

I was recently asked to speak on a podcast about this topic, which happens to be my favorite topic! You can listen to it here: Your Body Temple or Garage. As a Naturopathic Doctor, I love helping women with their health.

This podcast is a Christian perspective on taking care of the body.  Nikki Davis is the host on her own journey to find holistic healing and go back to God and nature. Health Information Forms

Welcome to B Renewed Wellness Solutions! Your next step is to complete the health information forms. This provides the background of your health and the current symptoms that you are experiencing. The more details you can provide, the better I can help you balance your body and manage your stress.

Please complete the following forms at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
1. Food and Beverage Intake
Be sure to track your food and beverage for a minimum of 4 days. More is better. We don’t need to know calories, just whether you dine in or out and what time you are eating or drinking.
You can track your food in a notebook and share it with me if you prefer. If you use a food tracking app, you can also share that with me instead of using the forms. The more details you can provide, the better I can help you determine the source of your stressors. If you like to use the online form, you can do that here.
2. General Health Assessment

 Complete the Health Assessment

3. Hormone Assessment for Women

This applies to women over the age of 13 or who have started menstruating.
Complete the Hormone Survey

4. Mental Fitness Assessment

Curious about what a mental fitness assessment is? There are two parts to the assessment. One is the percentage of time you are being hijacked by the negative saboteurs that we all have. These negative saboteur thoughts are creating loads of stress which is impacting our mental and physical health. Take the Mental Fitness Assessment here.

The second part of the assessment is your total PQ score. This measures your potential for happiness and success in everything you do.  Once complete, you’ll receive the results (two separate results) via email.  Forward those to me at bonnie@brenewed.com.

I’m looking forward to helping you overcome your health challenges and restore your body and mind to wholeness. You deserve this!

If you have any questions, please email or call. Or check out our page of Frequently Asked Questions.

Thank You and God bless.

What is Mental Fitness

What is Mental Fitness

What is mental fitness?

It’s a new concept in health called mental fitness. It’s the percentage of time your mind is serving you versus sabotaging you.

Independent researchers have validated the PQ (Positive Intelligence Quotient)  Score to be the single greatest predictor of how much of your potential for both success and happiness you achieve.

Research has shown that higher PQ results in enhanced immune system functioning, lower levels of stress-related hormones, lower blood pressure, less pain, fewer, colds, better sleep in a smaller likelihood of having hypertension, diabetes, or strokes.

What Is Mental Fitness?

Stanford lecturer and best-selling author Shirzad Chamine has developed a program and book called Positive Intelligence®. Your Positive Intelligence quotient, or ‘PQ’, is a measure of your mental fitness. PQ measures the percentage of time your mind is serving you versus sabotaging you. Independent researchers have validated PQ Score to be the single greatest predictor of how much of your potential for both success and happiness you achieve.

According to Shirzad, 80% of us score below the minimum level of mental fitness required for peak performance and happiness.

But the good news is that mental fitness can be significantly improved with just 6 weeks of daily practice. Shirzad tells us that doing 100 PQ reps a day to build mental muscles (essentially, creating new neural pathways) is the equivalent of taking 10,000 steps a day for physical fitness or weight training by doing reps with a dumbbell.

Helping every human build mental fitness so they can fulfill their true potential for both happiness and contribution.

How is PQ different from other programs including meditation or mindfulness?

PQ Treat Root Cause, not Symptoms

The factor analysis research has revealed the foundational root-level enablers and disablers of optimal performance and well-being. We rewire the brain at the root cause level.

PQ Focuses on Habit Formation

Most training results in short-lived improvements. For sustained results, we focus on building neural pathways that form lasting new habits. That’s why we call this “mental fitness”.

PQ Develops all 3 Core Muscles

Mental fitness requires 3 core muscles. Saboteur Interceptor, Self-Command, and Sage. Meditation only focuses on Self-Command, which is why it is not sustained by most.

An analysis of more than 200 scientific studies, which collectively tested more than 275,000 people, concluded that higher PQ leads to higher salaries and greater success in the areas of work, marriage, health, sociability, friendship, and creativity.

Daily Practice with the App

PQ app

The PQ app includes a mental fitness gym to offer a variety of PQ exercises using different senses. There are exercises for sitting or walking and they vary in length from 2 to 12 minutes. The app tracks your daily progress so you can check your progress against the targets for creating new neural pathways. It also gives you a daily focus of the day to guide your practice incrementally over 6 weeks.

15 minutes/day of app-guided practice enables you to establish mental muscles (neural pathways). These exercises are bite-sized to fit your busy schedule and customized based on how you self-sabotage.

You may be asking, is this the right program for me?

This is the right program for you if you are:

  • Committed to improving your performance and effectiveness dramatically while reducing stress
  • Looking for a science-based and trusted system to make it stick
  • Willing to put in the initial effort to rewire years of mental habits that don’t serve you

Take the Mental Fitness or PQ Assessment

The PQ program has been transformational for my personal and professional life as well as for my clients. If you’d like to learn more about PQ, or test your levels, you can do so here. If you have questions or want to be added to the waitlist, drop a comment below. I only run the program a few times a year and limit the program to 10 members.

When you take the assessment, I’d love to hear your results.  Better yet, schedule a free Wellness Strategy Session to learn more.

Naturopath with Client

Difference between Naturopathic and Allopathic Doctors

You may be curious about the difference between Naturopathic and Allopathic doctors.

There is absolutely a need for both in the world. Allopathic doctors prescribe medications and can perform procedures and surgeries. Their consultation is typically much shorter with regards to patient time which averages about 10 minutes per person. Conventional doctors are critical when it comes to acute (emergency) care.

Naturopathic doctors may or may not be licensed depending on their education. Naturopaths typically spend between 30-60 minutes per client or patient.  They understand the importance of diet (whole, clean food) and the impact on preventing disease. Naturopaths are a great resource to find root causes and natural solutions to your health issues to prevent disease. Many people I see are not getting the results from their conventional doctor.

Here are a few examples of what a Naturopath would recommend versus a conventional medical doctor.

  1. A Naturopath may tell you to take magnesium instead of OTC stool softeners (which dehydrates the bowel).
  2. Naturopathic doctors may tell you to change your diet when you have heartburn and indigestion along with digestive enzymes instead of you taking Prilosec (this can cause more heartburn, osteoporosis, and further imbalance the body).
  3. Naturopathic doctors will tell you herbs or whole clean food heals.
  4. A Naturopath will tell you to lower toxic chemicals in your home when you have constant headaches and allergies (these fragrances and chemicals cause toxic buildup in our cells that cause more allergies and headaches).
  5. Why aren’t you informed by your doctor that if you eat a grapefruit every day, it will lower your blood pressure naturally and you don’t need it (this is why a person can’t eat it while on blood pressure meds)?
  6. Why doesn’t your doctor tell you to take activated charcoal for headaches, bloating/gas, skin issues, colds, and food poisoning (activated charcoal bonds waste/toxins for the removal from the body)?
  7. Why don’t doctors tell you about herbs and herbal teas to support immune and digestive functions (different herbs help different organs do their jobs to keep the body healthy)?
  8. Why isn’t your doctor suggesting that you take a probiotic daily (this supports immune function, helps clean and balance the bowel, helps regulate absorption and elimination, and keeps colds and allergies at bay)?
  9. Why don’t your doctors provide you with any information on your vaccines before you inject yourself or your child (they don’t disclose that there are aborted baby cells, cow cells, African monkey cells, and dog cells, along with many other horrible adjuvants like mercury and aluminum and formaldehyde)?
  10. Why don’t doctors create diet/lifestyle plans for patients instead of offering a pill (diet and lifestyle choices are 90+% of all illnesses)?
  11. Why don’t doctors tell you to take supplements to boost your health prior to becoming sick and then they recommend (supplements/herbs/tinctures that can all prevent illness by boosting immune function and supporting organs with their natural functions)?
  12. Why don’t doctors teach you that your emotions store in your physical body and can cause you mental anguish, instead of they say you need an (emotions can play a very significant role in our total health, and without tools to help navigate our emotions we can easily become physically ill)?
  13. Why don’t doctors tell you when they take a whole organ from your body, that you’re still going to suffer, you just will suffer in a new way (organs are critical which is why God put them in our body, we need them to function, and most organs can be healed completely without removing anything)?
  14. Why don’t doctors take a real role in helping people to live better lives? Why do they set up these protocols of pills that most of them wouldn’t even take? Why aren’t we being helped to be healthy before we get sick?

If you have a doctor that listens to your concerns and does this, count yourself blessed!

Depending on what you are learning or hearing from your doctor, you may need to find a different one. Do your research on all medications and vaccines before subjecting yourself or your children. Do the research on all doctors before you meet with them or heed their advice. If you would like safer options to your health schedule a free Wellness Strategy Session to learn more.

Traditional Naturopaths do not treat diagnose or cure a disease but help you balance your body and reduce stress.

sage powers of pq heart with book mental fitness coach positive intelligence naturopath gut health

5 Sage Powers

The key to positive intelligence is the 5 Sage Powers. The concept of positive intelligence helps us measure our PQ or level of happiness and success. You can take the assessment to learn yours. Positive Intelligence is based on the best-selling book by Shirzad Chamine. His book discusses why only 20% of teams and individuals achieve their true potential.

As a traditional Naturopath, I understand the correlation between emotional stress and disease or imbalances in our health. Your sage represents the deeper and wiser part of you. The essence of who God created you to be. The sage perspective is finding the gift or opportunity in any challenge. It has access to five great powers of your mind and you can tap into these powers to meet any challenge.

1. Empathy – showing appreciation, compassion, and forgiveness. Having empathy for oneself is our biggest challenge thanks to your judge.

2. Explore – Looking at issues with curiosity, openness, wonder, and fascination. This helps with problem-solving. Most of us start trying to solve a problem before exploring it, which is typically premature. Your judge, stickler, hyper-achiever, or controller will always try to step in.  Exploring is critical for learning from past failures.

3. Innovate – Always ask…”What’s a whole new way to do this?” Look for a job, lose weight, and get healthy. Thinking “I’ve tried everything” is not the truth. The judge will start evaluating before you have fully brainstormed. No evaluation should occur during this phase.  Write out all the ideas, no matter how crazy, and end with the power game called Yes, And.  After each idea, you say, “Yes, and what I love about that idea is…”

4. Navigate – when you need to choose between multiple options, connect them with your values, purpose, or meaning. Take time now if you have not identified your values. It’s the compass for how you live daily.

5. Activate – move into pure, laser-focused, action, not distracted by saboteurs. When you know it’s time to take action, do not allow procrastination, distraction, or interference with saboteurs.

Here are some examples of what or who gets in our way.

  1. The Judge wastes time by causing fear, stress, anger, disappointment or shame while you are taking action.
  2. Avoider & Restless – avoid dealing with painful situations
  3. Controller & Stickler – cause actions to be rigid, limiting your contribution to others
  4. Hyper Achiever feels action is only focused on achievement-oriented objective
  5. Hyper Rational has you miss the emotional signals from your self and others. So analytical to your demise.
  6. The Victim convinces you to remain inactive to ensure you will become a victim and prove it right.
  7. The Pleaser is focused on making others happy, which may have nothing to do with the goal.
  8. Hyper Vigilant wastes enormous amounts of time and energy worrying about contingencies and creating anxiety from unwarranted risks

Essential Oil Diffuser Blends

If you use essential oils in your home, you will love these essential oil diffuser blends!

If you don’t use essential oils, let me share what the hype is all about. In short, they have a ton of uses. Some of those include DIY cleaners, laundry detergents, and soothe skin. They also replace candles which are loaded with toxins that are released into the air when we burn them. There are different types of essential oils and they are not all the same quality, but, we’ll discuss that in a different post.

Here are some of our favorite diffuser blends:

Peaceful Mind: 2 drops orange, 2 drops bergamot, 2 drops rosemary, 2 drops peppermint, 1 drop frankincense

Sunshine: 3 drops lime, 3 drops of lavender, 3 drops bergamot, 2 drops of geranium

Just Beachy:  4 drops lime, 3 drops lavender, 1 drop rosemary, 1 drop eucalyptus

Happy Camper: 5 drops patchouli, 4 drops bergamot, 2 drops black spruce, 1 drop frankincense

Vacation: 3 drops cedarwood, 3 drops tangerine

Summer Twist: 4 drops lime, 2 drops cilantro, 1 drop lemongrass

At The Beach: 4 drops of Joy or rose oil, 2 drops lime, 2 drops of lemon

Seashore: 4 drops lime, 3 drops tangerine, 2 drops sandalwood

Road Trip: 2 drops bergamot, 2 drops cypress, 2 drops lemon

Irish Rain Showers: 3 drops lavender, 3 drops lemon, 3 drops peppermint

Welcome Fall: 1 drop clove, 1 drop ginger, 2 drops frankincense, 3 drops wild orange

Fresh Rain: 2 drops patchouli, 1 drop lavender, 1 drop lemon

Fun Fact: Our like (or dislike) of certain oil smells can actually change daily! For example, if I have an upset stomach, I react well to peppermint. If I feel great, peppermint may make my eyes water. Our bodies are intuitive and we can have fun trying new oils the same way we have fun trying new foods!

If you are just starting to explore oils, we would love to help you! Click here for our great quality at great prices favorites! We love to try new blends and would love to hear what you have tried! If you want to chat more about environmental toxins, how to can start to reduce them, and how we can help, check this out!

Finding Happiness

Who is Sabotaging Your Happiness

Have you considered who is sabotaging your happiness? Or who is preventing you from your ability to find joy and peace or think positively? Some of you would argue that you feel you are a happy person. However, I’m learning that after digging in deeper, people are shocked to find out that they truly aren’t living a life of joy. They are being tricked into thinking they are by those who want them to believe it’s for their good to be skeptical, cynical, or judgmental.

Many of us may blame the government, the economy, world leaders, schools, spouses, etc. I agree they are making life a bit more challenging! The list would go on and on to determine who is to blame for our lack of happiness. But in reality, it’s us. We are the only ones who can determine this. If you are like me, you are asking, “but how?!”

What would it be worth if you could determine how much time your mind is acting to your benefit and the control you have? What about determining who the Saboteurs are and their rationale for hijacking your mind for the majority of each day? How much would that help you in your work, relationships, and life?

Determine Your Positive Intelligence

Well, there is a way and it’s free. The rating scale is called Your Positive Intelligence, based on research by Shirzad Chamine. It indicates how much control you can exert over your mind, and measures how much your mind acts to your benefit. It scores your Positive Intelligence Quotient (PQ) from 0 to 100. To simplify, it is the percentage of time your mind acts as your friend rather than your saboteur.

The answer to that question is simple. It’s by taking this 5-minute test.

You may be shocked by the outcome, but I encourage you not to be dismayed. I was a bit deflated after taking it. But we know there is hope without spending thousands of hours and time in therapy! Most people can improve their scores in a matter of a few weeks.

The optimal PQ score is between 75-90. Once you have your PQ score, assuming it’s under 75, you will want to take a second 5-minute survey which will identify your Saboteurs. If it’s over 75, please let me know and I’ll celebrate with you!! You are a rare exception.

Identify Your Saboteurs

You’ll receive a list of nine saboteurs but only focus on the top four.

10 Saboteurs List

These will be ranked on a score of 1-10. The higher the number, the more control the Saboteur has over you. I forgot to mention the #1 Saboteur. We call it the Judge. The judge is universal and everyone deals with this one. It compels you to constantly find faults with yourself, others, and your condition and circumstances. How much freedom would you feel to not feel the need to constantly criticize yourself or others? I can tell you, it’s exhausting. 2022 has been my year to focus on some introspection to improve my relationship with myself and others. You can’t love others until you truly love and are at peace with yourself. Our parents, teachers, and society (some intentionally and unintentionally) have inflicted some false beliefs onto our minds at a very young and impressionable age. I’ve been on the therapy and self-help route but nothing has made an impact like the work I’ve completed with Tony Robbins and his team. He introduced me to Shirzad Chamine, author of Positive Intelligence, and an arsenal of tools to support my journey. That journey started in March of 2022 with UPW (Unleash the Power Within), again in July UPW#2, and again in August as I continue my work with team Tony.

I thought I needed a different marketing or sales strategy, which I very well might. However, I’m 100% sure I needed this emotional/mental strategy to overcome long-term stinking thinking and weaken my Saboteurs. I truly needed this to improve my physical health, as our thoughts impact our ability to remain healthy and disease free. If you are having physical health challenges, I encourage you to take these two tests to see if your saboteurs could be holding you back from healing.

To give you hope, my first PQ score was 39 and I improved it to 67 (I’m striving for 75+) within a week of doing the work. I have more peace and contentment no matter what’s happening in the world. I’m less triggered by negative people. For example, I recently was engaged in a conversation with someone who was allowing their saboteurs (the Judge) to be in charge. Her words were not kind. Previously, I would have held a grudge and been angry for days. I can now recognize these demons in others as well as myself, and I’m on a mission to help everyone (if they are willing) find some much-needed and deserved peace within themselves. We can’t control others, but we can control our responses.

I would love to hear how you scored if you were surprised and know what saboteurs are in charge. Let me know how you were able to improve your score and most importantly, how your life has improved because of it.
